Career Woman & Content Creator
Having a career can be very rewarding, but it can get overwhelming at times. When I started youtube I really wasn’t heavy in my career. As my life evolved, my career has become a major part of my life, that I really enjoy in addition to my Youtube and my blog. When I decided to relaunch my blog, I know I had to develop a system because I’m a Mother as well.
I had to figure something out if I wanted to continue making videos and relaunch my blog. So I added my YouTube and my blog editorial calendar to my personal & work calendar. Doing this allowed me to have one calendar and not three to four calendars. I like to keep things in my life super simple. The fewer steps I have to do, the better. Now that I have one calendar, I’m able to see when I’m free or able to create content.
When I started creating content
I would just randomly upload and post with no structure. When I decided to grow my YouTube Channel, I started to think about what I was putting out. However, when it came to my blog that was a different story. I couldn’t figure out how to have the same conversation on my channel here on my blog. So I just gave up and used my blogging platform as another platform to share my videos. I didn’t have any real original content that I would even read. I will get share more details on the direction of my blog in another post, so please makeup sure you’re on the mailing list to get all new post straight to your email.
In saying all of that!
We are about to have some fun over here on the blog and channel. It was a matter of me finding a simple system that worked well for me. One digital calendar and a planner. If you are a content creator or just someone who has a busy life. How do you keep it all together?
Thank you for reading and see you in the comments,
