Happy Birthday to ME!
Happy Birthday to ME! I turned 43 on June 23rd. I know this post is super late but wanted to share a few things with you. I’m well into my 40’s and I am enjoying it. One thing I can say, I’m not scared of getting old or older because I feel I’m getting better with age. When I was younger I felt I knew it all but honey let me tell you. I didn’t know a thing.
Before my birthday I took a step back and just looked at what I have accomplished thus far and what’s to come. I use to be so hard on myself because I felt I should have been further. Then I realized, I was right where I needed to be at that time.
We all have a timeline on when we move to the next level. It was super important for me to complete my Masters Degree. It was one of my birthday gifts to myself. If you are in your 40’s or approaching, trust me its FUN!!!
How does it feel being in your 40’s
To be honest, it feels great. I always knew the things I wanted, well the things I can control. I feel now I have a sense of clarity on how to execute future things I may want. Overall, I feel the same just better with a lot of class and wisdom.
What’s to come?
As I mentioned in a previous post getting a Masters Degree was a personal goal. I really wanted to focus and complete that chapter in my life. now I really want to focus on my brand “iamKeliB”. I want to get back into my videos and create an informative blog post for my readers weekly. I’m sure you can see, I have changed a few things here on the blog and my YouTube channel. I want to focus on women like me and grow with women like me. Women in their 40’s and older.
There is no need for me trying to cater to a wide group of women when I know, I have passed that stage in my life (my 20’s & 30’s). As you get older your topics change and your conversation. Now don’t get me wrong, there are younger woman who can relate and are welcome to join in but I want to be your Beauty & Lifestyle Resource for Women 40 & Over.
Thank you for supporting me and continuing to always be there. My journey on the internet has been great but I’m ready to take my brand to the next level.
See you in the comments,
xoxo Keli B.
[…] Ladies & Gents, this isn’t hard but you have to put in hard word. I’m sure if I didn’t take a step back I would have been further, but I mentioned in a previous post. I am where I need to be. […]
