During this time we live things can become really hard to deal with. How to deal with anxiety? Anxiety can be handled in so many ways. I have never experienced anxiety until this pandemic. I have problems and issues just like the next person but for reason this time has enhanced my emotions. Maybe I should say I couldn’t avoid them (my problems and issues).
Some people are afraid to talk about mental issues on any level. I feel if you stay to yourself about it, it can or will get worse. When I had my first anxiety attack I thought I had extremely bad heartburn but it was so hard to gather myself I started getting out of breath.
I knew at that moment this was not heartburn. I begin to look up anxiety symptoms and causes and low and behold. I had several of the symptoms. So at this point, I’m want to know what was triggering these attacks (me being in denial). Like I mentioned before I have problems and issues just like the next person but I didn’t want to address them and I begin to break down.
Anxiety is hard to deal with and we ask all the time “How To Deal With Anxiety?” It’s not an overnight fix because it took many issues to get the anxiety.
How To Deal With Anxiety
- Don’t be afraid to seek a therapist
- Acknowledge you have anxiety
- Learn ways to relax your mind
Currently, I’m seeing a therapist once a week to deal with my anxiety and I feel better for the most part and I see a change in my mood. I have linked a video below sharing a little on how I deal with my anxiety during this pandemic. If you are dealing with anxiety, depression, or any other form of mental illness please share below.
